We call on UK government to join 3 million people in global fight against cruel cosmetics

We’re calling on UK MPs to support our Forever Against Animal Testing campaign for a worldwide ban on cosmetics testing on animals. It’s our most ambitious campaign against animal testing ever and we can only achieve this with your help.

Last month our petition for a global ban on animal cosmetics testing reached over 3 million signatures.

We need you to ask your local MP to join our campaign and take a stand against animal testing for cosmetics, everywhere.

Michelle Thew, CEO of Cruelty Free International, said: “Nobody wants to see animals suffering and dying for the sake of a new lipstick or shampoo. We call on the UK’s politicians to lead by example and speak out for those who have no voice by tabling and actively pursuing an agreement at the UN General Assembly.”

Caroline Lucas, MP for Brighton Pavilion, said: “It’s ridiculous in 2017 that there is still animal testing for cosmetics. It’s time for this to stop. The UK should step up and lead the way in the world and put this issue on the agenda of the United Nations to bring this cruel and unnecessary practice to an end.”

With your help our aim is to get over 200 MPs to support a ban on animal testing for cosmetics everywhere and forever.

Please use our tool to email your MP and tell them to call the UK government to table a resolution at the United Nations.
