Dr Cameron has championed ending cosmetics testing worldwide, speaking passionately at our Brussels Banniversary event celebrating the 5th anniversary of the EU animal cosmetics testing ban. The Chair of the All-party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare Group has led the way on ending cruel and unnecessary experiments on dogs in the UK. Dr Cameron was crucial in organising a Westminster Hall debate, speaking out against the use of dogs in UK animal tests. The MP also attended our #LeadTheWay Westminster Dog walk last week. Dr Lisa Cameron said, “I am honoured to receive Cruelty Free International’s Parliamentarian of the Month award. I will continue to advocate an end to the cruel and unnecessary tests that dogs and countless other animals must endure.” Our #LeadTheWay campaign urges the Home Office to end the use of dogs in experiments in the UK by 2020.
