Urge Aeroflot to stop for good

Act now to save 155 monkeys from cruel research

Despite airline Aeroflot declaring their implementation of a ban last year, our investigation team has uncovered that the passenger airline continues to transport monkeys from Vietnam, destined to suffer in a Russian laboratory.

Following an appeal from our supporters last year, Aeroflot committed to ending the transportation of monkeys destined for research, stating they had adopted policy banning these shipments on their flights. Aeroflot have broken this promise.

We are horrified to discover that in December 2017, the airline transported over 200 long-tailed macaques from Vietnam to Russia. Torn from their families and later imprisoned in small wooden crates, these highly intelligent and sensitive creatures suffered in the dark, noisy cargo hold, awaiting their fate at the other end.

We have also received information that Aeroflot plans to fly 155 monkeys from Vietnam to Russia in the next few weeks.

Thanks to people like you, we have successfully influenced many big-name passenger airlines to stop their involvement in the international research trade for good. With your support we can add Aeroflot to the growing list.

Please complete this quick form to contact Aeroflot and tell them to please not accept the upcoming shipment of monkeys and adopt a policy to end this cruelty for good.
