We tell MPs why tests on dogs must end
Our campaign to end the use of dogs in experiments is gathering pace today as our Director of Policy Nick Palmer speaks in the UK Parliament to press the issue.
The All-Party Animal Welfare Group has invited Dr Palmer to explain why experiments on dogs are both cruel and ineffective in helping humans. He will also brief the group on the progress of our judicial review of the Government’s approval of a dog-breeding facility in Yorkshire.
Nick says, “As a former MP myself I know how important it is for MPs to have the facts from a reliable source. I am delighted to get the chance today to tell MPs of all parties the reasons why experiments on dogs must end.”
